Anton maneuvered his truck along the quiet streets of Indiga, the sight of the familiar but now deserted town filling him with a foreboding sense of uncertainty. His gaze was drawn to the direction of the lab, a once unassuming complex that had turned into a nest of horrors overnight.

Meanwhile, Vera treaded cautiously towards Anton's garage, the classified folder clutched tightly to her chest. She prayed silently that she would not run into any military personnel. A curfew had been imposed on Indiga, and the consequences of breaking it could be severe.

In the eerie silence of the lab, Petrov and Baryshnikov looked on helplessly as the beast Lena had become moved towards the exit. "We can't let it reach the town," Baryshnikov whispered, a plan formulating in his mind.

In her room, Katerina clutched a photo of her father, hoping he was safe. She could sense the fear in the air, thick and tangible. Yet, her determination outweighed her fear. She had to find her father.

Colonel Maksimovich was in a crisis meeting with Mayor Orlov and Dr. Ivanov, the latter appearing on a video call. "We need to maintain control," Orlov insisted, but there was a tremor in his voice that betrayed his fear.

Natasha, at the school, was doing her best to keep the children calm and distracted. They were asking questions she did not have the answers to. She only hoped that they would be safe, and their parents too.

Anton reached the lab's perimeter, confronting the military cordon. He was met with resistance, but he was relentless. "I have to get in," he argued, "I have a right to know what's happening."

Vera, hiding behind the buildings, watched as Anton confronted the soldiers. She had to reach him, but the military presence made it impossible.

Meanwhile, at the lab, Baryshnikov made a bold decision. He would stay back and try to slow the beast, buying Petrov and the town some time. He locked eyes with Petrov, conveying his resolution.

In a rare moment of unity, Colonel Maksimovich, Mayor Orlov, and Dr. Ivanov agreed to a drastic plan. "We must quarantine Indiga," Dr. Ivanov stated gravely.

As the day wore on, the tension in Indiga heightened. Each person's path seemed to be on a collision course with the other, all converging towards a single point – the lab and the terror within.
